Building Up Local Sport in Gravesend

Many of TAG's own people, and their families, live and grew up around Gravesend. So when the local Gurudwara and its sports ground needed work doing, it wasn't a project we tendered for. It was one we turned up for.

We carried out general maintenance and upkeep of the temple grounds, then put our civil engineering trades to proper use: a new stand area for spectators and participants, and a new running track open to all ages, not just competitive athletes.

Alongside the construction work, TAG sponsored the local football club, Guru Nanak FC, and a youth rugby team, backing the clubs that keep young people in the area active and part of a team.

It's a small case study next to a taxiway or a sea wall, but internally it's the one that matters most. TAG's commitment to social value isn't a line in a policy document. It's turning up on a Saturday morning with the right tools for the job.
