Bells & Mocketts Pumping Station
Breheny Civil Engineering brought TAG onto the Bells & Mocketts Pumping Station scheme to deliver the concrete structures that would carry the site's spillway and hold its banks: the walls, slabs and beams a pumping station depends on to keep water moving where it should and out of where it shouldn't.
The scope covered a spillway, concrete slabs, retaining walls, capping beams and a weed dumping slab. TAG's crews poured blinding and back-blinding to every wall and slab, fixed rebar throughout, then built the formwork and temporary works needed to hold each pour to line and level before finishing with concrete.
It's the kind of sequenced, structural concrete package where getting the order of operations right matters as much as the pour itself, and TAG's team ran it that way from blinding through to the finished structure.
The works were carried out to the programme and to budget, giving Breheny a completed set of pumping station structures without surprises on either the timeline or the price.
